Australian artist Ian Walpat has been painting and drawing in one form or another his whole life. His work ranges from landscapes, imagination paintings, cartoonish work and various other forms of art.

The main focus of his work is developing an original style and expressing his imagination. He often works in series and stages, concentrating on a set of artworks and then moving on to the next.

Much of his artwork has a fun playful feel about it and he tries to stay away from negativity in his work . He likes colour, patterns, strong lines and raw art made by humans. He works freehand in all his drawing and painting. He considers himself a bit of an outsider artist.
